the average daily traffic crossing the 25 de Abril Bridge in Lisbon is about 150.000 cars and 157 trains. the drone is a distinctive sound in the area, changing according to the wind direction, speed and specific time of the day. underneath the bridge, the phasing patterns can be appreciated with striking detail.

this piece samples the sonic flux generated by thousands of engines and wheels playing the suspension bridge structure, the passing trains and planes, modulated by the reflective surface of the Tagus river and the weather.
